Description: Quality antique carved oak polychrome putti with shelf. Lovely decorative piece with a carved oak putti face that I believe to be Continental and to date from the 1800’s. With the later addition of a shelf this is designed to be wall mounted. The modelling on the putti head is of a lovely quality. Just the right size of small shelf for several bathroom essentials to reside.

Condition: Very good. The lilac paint of the polychrome putti looks to be more recent whilst the rest of the paint appears to be original. The carved wooden top, that has been added with a recessed screw, enables this putti to be used as a decorative shelf.
