Description: Stunning large bib taps. Its rare to see these taps with their wonderful warm white original glaze. They are heavy (1.6 kg each tap) and large in size and were most likely to have been used with a bath. The inner mechanism of the taps is made of brass, this has been encased in a cast iron shell which then looks to have been dipped in an enamel glaze. The tap heads bare the swan logo and a registration number reading: 726346.

Condition: Very good. There are no chips or cracks on these taps. There are some marks where the metal has spotted through slightly in places (see photos for this). The taps are a 3/4” BSP thread size therefore suitable for bath plumbing and if being used on a sink then an adapter would need to be fitted to reduce the thread size to that of sink plumbing, at 1/2” BSP. The taps have been refurbished with new washers fitted and have been tested to mains water pressure. They are sold compatible with modern plumbing. New chrome plated brass screws have been fitted to the tap heads.
