Description: Dating from the early 1900’s these antique door knobs are by W & R L Pitts. The makers mark is embossed upon the back of each backplate. Good heavy weight to the handles, having been cast in a solid warm slightly rose brass. The backplates have 3 recessed screw holes for installation. Supplied with a square bar spindle they are suitable for installation with mortice or latch fittings.

Condition: Very good. Slight signs of wear from age and use. These handles have been hand polished and are unlacquered therefore a gentle clean with brass polish occasionally will maintain the shine.
