Description: Large, quality antique cast iron door knocker. Dating from the early 1800’s this example has a wonderful foliate designed back plate and its original shaped back nut. Sourced in Southern France close to Nice. Excellent casting and weight.

Condition: Excellent. Supplied with a replacement strike plate. Carefully cleaned, complete and in good working order.
