Description: An antique French oil lamp dating from circa 1750. Known as a betty lamp it features a decorative heart shaped twist lock. In iron this example includes a hook from where it would have been hung when not placed on a surface .

Condition: Very good. In full working order. The hook part looks to be of a later addition, in keeping with the design.
