Description: An antique trench art shaving mirror. The design comprises of a brass frame with a mirror plate encased in a WWI shell. The heavy weighted base is also crafted from a WWI shell. Both pieces have names and dates to the back, the first reads POLTE MAGDEBURG OCT 1916 SP181 630. The second to the base reads PATRONENFARRIK AARLSRUHE OKT 1917 KARTH SP255 556. Incredibly well made and practical mirror. The base takes the shape of a concave tray, useful to place small items of jewelry.

Condition: Excellent. Some slight wear to be expected from age and use. Complete with its origonal mirror plate that has some subtle foxing to its surface.
